thecomicscomic: On Wednesday night, Caleb Medley advanced out of the first round of the Denver Comedy Works annual “New Faces Contest.” On Thursday night, Medley took his pregnant wife, Katie (due date: today), to see the midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises. That midnight screening. The Medleys were victims of the Aurora massacre. Caleb was shot in the face, losing an eye and suffering brain damage. He’s in an Aurora hospital in a coma. Katie and unborn baby were unharmed. They do not have health insurance.
